BHUBANESWAR(Visakeo)-The Viswa Hindu Parishad and Bajarang Dal on Thursday came down heavily on Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Archbishop Raphael Chinnath( Cuttack-Bhubaneswar) for the brutal murder of Pravat Panigrahi, a RSS worker in Kandhamal

“We condemned the brutal murder and held Naveen and Church responsible for the killing,” he alleged. Chauhan apprehended that few BJD leaders have an understanding with the Christian Militants to spread mayhem in Kandhamal. “Naveen inducted Church leader Swarupananda Patra into BJD and got praise from the Archbishop for breaking alliance with BJP. So, we are now convinced that, they are in fix to eliminate tribal Hindus,” Chauhan added. They had earlier killed Dhanu Pradhan, he said.

VHP State general secretary GP Rath, Vanavasi Kalyam Ashram State general secretary Dr Laxmikant Dash, Hindu Jagaran Samukhya State coordinator Basudev Barik, Swami Pranarupananda Saraswati and Swami Jeevan Chaitnya Maharaj jointly came down heavily on Naveen for his excessive minority appeasement step. “We also suspect the hand of Naveen’s advisors, who had good relations with Church sponsored militants,” VKA leader Dash added. They served an ultimatum to the Chief Minister asking him to ensure the arrest of the killers or face the music.
