ABVP has resolved to form a Human Chain on 26th August, 2011 against corruption in different parts of the country. National General Secretary of ABVP Shri Umesh Dutta said that on 26th August, 2011 lakhs of students would from Human Chain all over the country and show their outrage against corruption. He demanded that Central Government should come out with a viable solution and respect the sentiments of people who are associated with this movement against corruption. Umesh Dutta said that ABVP would make all efforts to give a logical end to movement against corruption.
ABVP's nationwide "College Bandh" on 18th August, 2011 got tremendous support from the student community from all over India. ABVP is organising different activities against corruption since last 9 months. Issues like Jan Lokpal Bill, Black Money are included in this campaign against corruption. ABVP is in support of an effective Lokpal Bill.
Activists of ABVP did Chakka Jams (blocked the roads) on 9th August, 2011 and raised the slogan of "Corrupt leaders- Quit Power". ABVP gave a call to student community to tie black strips in his/her college for half hour for one week.
