RSS remembered Netaji Subhashchandra Bose on his 117th Jayanti, attractive Pathasanchalan held

Siliguri West Bengal Jan 23: Rashtreeya Swayamsevak Sangh celebrated 117th Jayanti of freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose by organising a traditional Route March (Patha Sanchalan) with Ghosh (Band) in Siliguri today afternoon for an hour, by local unit of RSS.

During the Pathasanchalan, R S S swayamsevaks paid their heart-warming tributes to the national hero who devoted himself for the motherland. On behalf of all the swayamsevaks Vibhag Sah-Sanghchalak (Asst. Divisional President of RSS Siliguri-Jalpaiguri division) Kulchatraprasad Agarwal garlanding on Netaji’s statue at Netaji more at Siliguri. He was accompanied by Uttarbang Prant Pracharak Gobinda Ghosh, Sah-Prant Pracharak Jaladhar Mahato and other dignified karyakartas of Siliguri.

A short speech by Sah Prant Pracharak Jaladhar Mahato was given before the march started. All total more than three hundred swayamsevaks from Siliguri and surroundings participated the march started at 3 P.M. from Baghajatin Park and ended at the same after marching one hour in various roads of Siliguri Municipality.
A colorful tablow with the potraits of Netaji, Bharatmata and RSS founder Dr. Hedgewar attracted the people along with a small Vivekananda (A Child, Dressed as Swamiji). Anandamoy Barman and Prabhat Patra conducted the march with others. 
BJP leader Panchanan Raut, in charge of West Bengal, Sikkim and entire North East region attended the march along with other party workers.

Two persons were arrested in connection with the damage to a bust of Netaji Subhas Chadra Bose at a village panchayat office in West Bengal's Birbhum district.
