ABVP remembers the'150th year of 1857 Uprising

Bhubaneswar(VISAKEO): State unit of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has organised a motor cycle tally in the city to commemorate the 150th year of the 1857 Uprising. "At least more than 30 vehicles along with 62 members under the supervision of Kartik Chandra Pruty and Bhabanishankar Mohapatra participated in the rally.

Parishad's east zone organising secretary Bishnu Das said that also the rally began with the homage to Boxy Jagabandhu, the legendary freedom fighter and traversed through the city spreading the message of patriotism. The rally being named as the '150th anniversary of the 1857 freedom struggle' came to the end at the holy land of Veer Surendra Sai in western town of Sambalpur.
