Sadhus blame Congress, Communists for communal violation

Bhubaneswar: (visakeo)-Leading sadhus of various mutts on Sunday accused the Congress and Left Parties as communal forces and distorting country's history and culture. Sadhus while attending the concluding day of the Ram Sethu Raskhya Yatra here in the premises of the Lingaraj Temple alleged that Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi and West Bengal Chief Minister Budhadeb Bhattacharjee have no idea on country's history and misguiding the people while making defamatory statements against a particular community. Swami Jignasananda Saraswati alleged that the UPA Government is only busy in appeasing a particular community and doing nothing. "They have no idea about India's glorious history but denying Lord Ram's existence, which was unfortunate and condemnable," Saraswati said. Speaking on this occasion Justice Papanna criticise the Centre over the Sethu Samundram Shipping Canal Project. RSS State president Ashok Das, VHP State secretary Gouri Prasad Rath, Umesh Patri, Bhagirathi Mahasuar, Sradhanandaji, Mahant Ramkrushna Das and Saipada Baba were among those present.
