BJP workers in Orissa celebrate Gujarat victory

Bhubaneswar: (visakeo)-Ecstatic at the party's impressive victory in Gujarat, BJP workers gathered in a large number at party's headquarters on Janpath Road here on Sunday and celebrated by bursting crackers and beating drums. Buoyed over the victory, the party workers including women workers raised slogans in support of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendera Modi and the party. It was a festive look at the party headquarters as workers and leaders were seen congratulating each other. Speaking to media, BJP leaders described party's victory in Gujarat as a new turning point in Indian politics. The people of Gujarat have accepted the development plank of Narendra Modi and have expressed their confidence in Modi's development and peace works, they said. Reports of celebrations by BJP workers from Cuttack, Sambalpur, the home town of State BJP president Suresh Pujari and Deogarh, Lok Sabha constituency of party's national secretary Dharmendra Pradhan and other parts of the state were also received. Prasanna Mishra, Panchanan Rout, Sanchita Mohanty, Droupadi Murmu and Baidhar Mallick were among those leaders present.
