BJP Mahila Morcha to gherao Naveen Nivas on July 14

The State unit of the BJP Mahila Morcha at its extended Executive meeting here on Wednesday demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik being in charge of the Women and Child Welfare and Home Ministry, owning moral responsibility for the death of seven kids due to wall collapse of an Anganwadi centre at Suansia village in Nayagarh district.

Holding the Chief Minister directly responsible for the tragic death of seven children and his utter failure to maintain law and order, particularly the growing crimes against women, the one-day executive also resolved to gherao Naveen Nivas, the residence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, on July 14 to demand his resignation.
