Cuttack : 2/5/2016 – Born in Gopalji lane, Choudhury bazaar, Cuttack and making whole Odisha his work place, senior advocate Bhupendra Kumar Bose was not only a prominent lawyer but also a local guardian and eminent social activist. He was not only the first pranta Sanghachalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha but played a pivotal role in paving the way for different organizations like Viswa Hindu Parishad, Utkal Bipanna Sahayata Samiti, Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram, Rashtradeep. Despite his illnesss, the centenarian Bhupen babu carried on his work with eminent personalities like Dr. Harekrushna Mahatab and Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati. Indeed he was a real real karmayogi. A homage ceremony was organized in Cuttack club annex. Eminent personalities like All India organizing committee of Hindu Jagaran Samiti member Harihara Nanda, Kshetra Sanghachalak Ajaya Nandi, Paschima Pranta Sanghachalak Bipin Bihari Nanda, Chaitanya Puri, RSS Central Executive Council member Sunilpada Goswami, Laxmikanta Dash, Nrusingha Charan Panda, senior journalist Arun Kumar Panda, Former state minister and senior BJP leader Biswabhusan Harichandan, Pranta Sampark Pramukh Prasanna Kumar Mishra, All India Saha Sanghatan Mantri,VHP Sudhansu Mohan Pattnaik, Paschim Pranta Karyavaha Durga Prasad Sahu, All India Organising Secretary,BKS Mohini Mohan Mishra, All India Organising Secretary,BMS Krushna Chandra Mishra, Akhila Bharatiya Saha Seva Pramukh Ajit Mohapatra, were present on the occasion and spoke few lines on the occasion. RSS Sahapranta Karyavaha Sudarshan Das invited guests to the dais. Prominent culture researcher Gopal Prasad Mohapatra organized the ceremony. Many devotees from odisha as well as from other states joined this ceremony.
