500 TEACHERS WORSHIPPED AT IMCT EVENT IN CITY

Bhubaneswar,17/12:The Initiative for Moral and Cultural Training Foundation (IMCT) organised a Guru Pujan programme where around 500 teachers were worshiped by students reciting mantras at the Baramunda Ground here.
Aimed at reviving the old Guru-Sisya Parampara, the programme which was on its third day on Saturday witnessed many intellectuals, spiritual Gurus, award-winning teachers and common people attending the function. Social activist and Sruti Editor Sarbeswar Mishra coordinated the programme, where Swami Arupanandaji Maharaj delivered a talk on the importance given to teacher in the Indian culture and Hindu religion.
Gopal Prasad Mohapatra from RSS attending the function said that the students have to make sacrifice for the teachers in order to get his blessing and become successful in life.
Meredian College Principal Dr Arjun Sahu joined as chief guest, while Dipak Kumar Rout gave vote of thanks.
