Bhubaneswar,5/12:Till today, the media has not disseminated the right information about the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) due to which it has not been rightly projected, said chief speaker V Vagoyoji at the unveiling of weekly magazine ‘Organiser’ and special edition of ‘Panchajanya’ here on Sunday.
He said at different times different services provided by various organisations of the Sangh are not getting a place in the media. If one wants to know the Sangh closely, one would have to come to the Shakhas. Many dedicated Swayamsevaks are engaged in different activities of the Sangh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also a prominent RSS activist. The reforms he brought in the Sangh’s Shakhas are reflected in his works, he added.
A section of the media spread the disinformation that the Sangh is communal. But it is not true. Instead, the RSS has spread far and wide and has been accepted by all sections of society. The Sangh’s job is service of the motherland and not opposing anybody. For the last 90 years, the Sangh has been doing this, Vagoyoji said further.
Income Tax Director Arta Bandhu Patra attended as chief guest. Among others, Odisha Purva Pranta Sanghachalak Samir Kumar Mohanty, Bhubaneswar Mahanagar Sanghachalak Basant Kumar Pati, and Nilambar Rath were present.
