Concern over Electronic Media

Kochi, March 17. General Secretary of Amritanandamayi Math Pujya Swami Poornamritananda Puri expressed his great concern over the character of Indian media especially electronic media. Addressing the participants of new media workshop, he made a point, “We all know that the news against Sampoojya Kanchi Sankaracharya was on prime time for more than 400hrs in our visual media but when he has been declared innocent by the apex court, that positive news got only two minutes in our News arena”.
He emphasized to learn ancient Dharma and Philosophy before using modern science and technology. Today no one teaches to imbibe virtues, everyone like a demon uses the modern science as, Bhasmasura used his strength, which he got from Mahadeva, without Dharma, he added.
Two days long New Media workshop jointly organised by Vishwa Samvad Kendra, Kerala and Amrita School of Arts and Science, Kochi has been concluded successfully. It was an amazing and valuable experience to the participants from all over Kerala who is closely connected with Prachar Vibhag of every District of Sangh in Kerala.
