Bhubaneswar,16/4-Sri Jagannath Sanskruti Prachar Samiti , Odisha (engaged in preaching and adopting Sri Jagannath cult) is giving its call to the devotees to  adopt the undernoted social activities and spiritual recourses on the eve of Nabakalebara festival of Sri Zeews .

1. On 15th June 2015 in the month of Ashadha and  in krusna pakhya chaturdashi, the day of Ghata Parivartan let all devotees do fasting and adopt Maunabrata.
2. During this Ghata Parivartan let all the Brahmins should chant 1008 man tras and conclude it on Amabasya.
3. Let all the mothers and sisters of Utkal (above 50 years of age ) should enchant Bisnu Sahasra nama and Gopal Sahasranama, Nrushingha Stotra and Khyamapana stotra in any Bishnu  temple in all those days.
4. After darshan of Nabakalebara let all promise to protect cows and boy- cut all skin made products.
5. After the aforesaid darshan let all promise to protct the nature and each one should plant a tree  among the list of 16 trees given separately.
6. After the said darshan let us boy-cut all the polythene and plastic products.
7. All the broken idols and mutilated pictures of Hindu God and Godess be immersed in the water  and let all the business houses do not use their pictures for their business gain.
8. On the day of Ghata Paribartan, their should be strict self prohibition and also self ban of unethical songs.
