TEMPLE SHOULD BE FREE FROM GOVT ADMINISTRATION

 

Bhubaneswar,11/7 - On the holy occasion of Lord Jagannath's Nabakalebara, the disturbances created starting from selection of daru to ghata parivartan(transfer of bramha) have deeply hurt the sentiments and agitated the minds of the devotees throughout the country. This has led to great suspicion that there is a large conspiracy behind these unfortunate events. It is a strong disgrace to lord Jagannath. Therefore, all these events should be deeply investigated by Central Bureau of Investigation demanded Shri Jagannath Suraksha Mancha in a press conference at Bhubaneswar. The state government tried to misguide the people by ordering a crime branch investigation to a false facebook photo instead of investigating the real mischiefs created from daru selection to unfortunate incidents happened inside the temple.

In a press conference convened by Dr.Laxmikanta Dash, State convenor of Shri Jagannath Sanskruti Suraksha Mancha,Dr. Prafulla Kumar Ratha expressed great concern on the events happened during this nabakalebara and expressed that these are the manifestation of continuous occurrence of disturbances in the temple nitis(rituals) since last 60 years under the government administration. So, the temple should be free from government administration and all the functions and rituals should be guided by Jagadguru Shankaracharya and controlled on direct supervision of shri Gajapati maharaj,puri and mukti mandap pandit sabha for maintaining the sanctity and discipline of shri Jagannath temple demanded shri Ratha. 

Joint convener advocate Ajit Pattnaik and advocate Shaktishankar Mishra, member muktimandap pandit sabha demanded a CBI inquiry to all these incidents to find out and punish the culprits. They also demanded an apology of the state government to the devotees  for its failure in smooth functioning of the nabakalebara rituals.

To avoid wrath of the lords on these unfortunate incidents, devotees are requested to chant Hanuman Chalisa 11 times in the nearby temples on 14th july(tuesday)as decided by the saints,religious persons and Jagadguru Sankaracharya and conduct a meeting on that place apprising devotees regarding the unfortunate incidents happened during this nabakalebara and write a letter to the governer of Odisha demanding CBI inquiry and making shri mandir free from government administration requested the mancha. A signature campaign will start throughout the state from this date on these above demands.

Organizer of this Mancha, Dr.Laxmikanta Dash highlighted that government should take proper actions regarding these demands as soon a possible or else a vast mass agiatation will be carried out in the near future.
