CONDOLENCE MEETING BY RASHTRIYA SWAYAMSEVAK SANGH
BHUBANESWAR,2nd MARCH-A condolence meeting in the sad demise of Shri Sridhar Acharya took place at the premises of Unit-3 Saraswati Sishu vidyamandir on behalf of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh today. He not only was a senior pracharak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh but also the first organizing secretary of Bharatiya Jansangh in Odisha. Hundreds of swayamsevaks gathered on this occasion and paid tribute to him .
In this condolence meeting akhil bharatiya boudhik pramukh V Vageya ji, senior social activist Gopal Prasad Mohapatra, state general secretary of Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram Dr.Laxmikanta Dash, pranta mahavidyalaya pramukh Tanmaya Mohapatra and Bipra Charan Tripathy of sahakar bharti expressed their tribute to Shri Acharya .The meeting led by Sahapranta Sanghachalak Shri Samir Kumar Mohanty. A one minute silence was observed in the rememberance of the departed soul after flower tribute was offered to Shri Acharya's photo.
Shri Sridhar Acharya passed away on Sunday at 9:00 am in Delhi. He paved the way for nationalistic thinking in western Odisha as in kalahandi and bolangir.A new era of BJP also grew during his time. The works of Jansangh was well appericiated by people under his leadership. He also smoothly carried out the works of Viswa Hindu Parishad,Odisha.
