The Akhila Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha,the conference of highest policy making body of Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangha was held at Nagpur on 13th,14th and 15th March,2015, and was inaugurated by Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Rao Bhagwat. At first, tribute was paid to those prominent personalities who were working in different fields of the society and passed away in recent days and also who died in natural calamities, as well as terrorist attacks and also those defence and security personnels, who sacrificed their lives for the nation. After that Sarkaryavah Shri Suresh Bhayaji Joshi placed the annual report of RSS in the above meeting for discussion. The sangha work for last 3 years was reviewed in the meeting. As per the report there are a total number of daily sakha of 51,330, weekly sakha of 12,847, monthly sakha of 9,008 functioning throughout the country. There is an increase of 20% in this figure as compared to the position of 2012. In Odisha there are 1,202 daily sakha, 253 weekly sakha, 160 monthly sakha. There is an increase of 15% of sakha compared to the position of 2012.
The following events were discussed in the above meeting:
1- A resolution is passed that education in primary school should be imparted in matrubhasa,i.e.mother tongue language. However any foreign language can be studied as one subject. For Odisha it is proposed that medium of education should be Odia / mother tongue language in all the primary schools. In this connection it is worthwhile to mention that the United Nation has declared 21st February as the day of mother tongue language.
2- A second resolution is passed that, in the event of 21st June being declared as International Yoga Day by United Nation, Sangha has decided that, on this occasion yoga will be practised including its study for a week from 15th June to 21st June'2015 in all the sakha of RSS. Sangha will also co-operate with any program of yoga organised by any govt.and private body during that period.
3- The temples,water reservoirs,crematory grounds should be opened for all the people in all the villages of the country. This will empower social harmony in the country. Sangha will extend its full cooperation in this noble work.
4- Wide expansion of sangha work will be done in all the corners of the country. Now,through join RSS program of internet an average of 3,000 persons are joining RSS everyday. In Odisha,this number is 10.
In this meeting report regarding seva projects run by RSS was placed before the members. As per the report there are 81,278 education centers(in Odisha-179), 22,741 health centers(in Odisha-268), 26,388 social reformation centers(in Odisha-318), 21,981 centers of self dependence program(in Odisha-249), functioning throughout the country. Thus there are 1,52,308 seva centers run by RSS in this country including 1,014 centers of Odisha.
A total of 1,400 members of the country including 37 members of Odisha have joined in this meeting. Shri Suresh Bhayaji Joshi has been re-elected as Sarkaryavah for another term of 3 years and he has declared the names of new All India Executive body of RSS .In this meeting Odisha has been divided in two parts on the basis of organizational needs.
