PASTOR CHAITANYA MURMU ARRESTED ON CHARGES OF FORCED CONVERSION

Anandapur – Father Chaitanya Murmu, Pentecoastal minister in the village of Manoharpur(Odisha) has been arrested on the charges of forced conversion. Police in Anandpur arrested the father for baptizing 16 tribal people. He allegedly forced them to embrace Christianity in exchange for money. He was also convicted of preaching conversion in Manoharpur and nearby villages without the permission of government or shanti committee.  Anandpur IIC Sandhyarani Jena along with the force arrested him in Manoharpur.
