RAJGANGPUR YOUTH HELD FOR KILLING COW

ROURKELA-The Rajgangpur police on Sunday afternoon arrested and court-forwarded an 18-year-old youth on charge of slaughtering a cow.
Police also seized a motorcycle and a bag containing cow bones from his possession. He was identified as Pascal Bangra(18) of the Singda building at Rajgangpur in Sundargarh district. Sources said some youths of the Barupada area first noticed that Pascal with a bag on his bike was going towards the Barupada  Akhada  area. They detained him and checked his bag. They found that the bag was containing cow bones.
They grilled the youth for some time and then took him to the Rajgangpur PS. During interrogation, the youth told the police that some Muslims had slaughtered a cow on Sunday morning and given him the cow's bones to dump somewhere. Later, police sent the bones to a veterinary lab for test. "We have already sent Pascal Bangra to court and further investigation is on," said Rajgangpur PS SI HK Behera
