Bhubaneswar,27/10(vsk odisha)The Technical Students’ Cell of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Tuesday demanded that the State Government immediately resolve examination-related problems of the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) or else it would take to the streets.
“The reason behind delay in publication of BPUT semester tests is that examination visitors and note evaluators have not been paid their dues for the last three years. They are about to get Rs 1.5 crore from the university. The nexus between the university authorities and Government officers has led to this situation. The Government should clear dues of the lecturers immediately,” demanded ABVP Technical Students Cell State convenor Smruti Ranjan Biswal in a statement.
Biswal too threatened that the ABVP wing would take to the street if the justice is not given to the concerned lecturers at the earliest.
