Kalaburagi, Karnataka October 29, 2015: Two-day annual Vanavasi Sports Meet organised by Vanavasi Kalyan Ashrama held on October 28 and 29, 2015 at Kalaburagi (Gulbarga) of Karnataka.
National Coordinator for Vanavasi Sports Meet of Vanavasi Kalyan Shaktipad Thakur, VHP Zonal Secretary Gopal Nagarakatte, Olympian National Record holder athlete Sahana Kumari, International Cyclist Krishna Nayakodi and other Prominent social leaders were present during the inaugural ceremony on Wednesday morning. Prakash Kamat, National Coordinator of Grama Vikas in Akhil Bharatiya Vanavasi Kalyana Ashrama adddressed during the valedictory.
A total of 570 Vanavasi Athletes from different forest villages of Karnataka participated in the meet. For the first time, Archery competition was organised on this meet at Karnataka level.
