DISTRICT CONVENTION OF ALL ODISHA ANGANWADI LADIES WORKER’S ASSOCIATION ORGANISED

Sundargarh district convention of All Odisha Anganwadi Ladies Worker’s Association of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangha was organized  here in sector-4. The event was organized by Sangha’s district head Manasi Das. National organizing secretary of Bharatiya Majdoor Sangha Shri Krishna Chandra Mishra, State secretary Shri Gajendra Nath Mohanty, district president Shri Radhakanta Mishra,district secretary Shri Bibekananda Mohanty,state general secretary Anjali Patel were present on this occasion. Chief guest on this occasion Minister of steel and mines Narendra Singh Tomar promised to bring up the problems faced by anganwadi workers in front of prime minister and respective ministers. Government have been forcing the workers to carry out more than 42 schemes rather than 9 schemes to which they were previously allotted. Their pay have not been hiked citing various baseless reasons as Shri Krishna Chandra Mishra said if right pay will not be provided,then the movement will be more stronger and faster. The term “anganwadi didi” is made fun of in many dramas and acts. Voices were raised to stop this and to arrest the owner and writer as soon as possible.
